November 11, 2017 ~ It was a blustery winter day when Dana and I attempted to reach Triangle Peak at the headwaters of the south fork of Eagle River.  Our route took us along Rendezvous Ridge with commanding views of Ship Creek valley to the south and many notable peaks to the north (Eagle, Hurdy Gurdy, Cantata, and Calliope).  We plowed through abundant snowdrifts sidelighted by a sun in sleepy winter recline, alpenglow aplenty.
